“The Owner”

 

Len Marazzo began his career in 1984 as a travel consultant in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. From there he joined a major incentive house in Kansas City, Missouri and spent five years managing business meetings as well as incentive groups, both domestically and internationally. He was responsible for groups ranging from 60 to 2000 people. This opportunity provided Lenny the ability to travel worldwide and successfully operate in a wide array of cultural environments.

Lenny spent seven years with Hyatt Resorts as a “Regional Director of Catering and Convention Service” based at the Hyatt Regency, Lake Tahoe. This position afforded him the opportunity to service his clients in a manner he himself had become accustomed to.

His current position as president of Beyond Travel allows him to bring all of his past experiences together to ensure his clients receive the finest customer service and attention to detail available in our industry today.

“The Staff”

 

Terry Azevedo, CMP – Terry’s career began in 1982 as a “Tour Director for Domestic and International Tour Operators”. From there she joined a major incentive house in Kansas City, Missouri and spent five years managing business meetings as well as incentive groups, both domestically and internationally. She was responsible for groups ranging from 50 to 2000 people.

Terry spent 5 years working with a catering company in the Lake Tahoe area. Coordinating both special events and corporate meetings. She also spent three years with the Hyatt Hotels Corporation as a “Sales Manager” at the Hyatt Regency Long Beach and the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe. This position afforded her the opportunity to promote the Reno/Lake Tahoe area.

Her current position is “Director of Meetings and Events of Beyond Travel”. Here she manages both the “Destination Management” and “Planning” departments, which allows her to show clients what Reno/Lake Tahoe has to offer as a destination. Terry being in the hospitality industry for over twenty years ensures the client excellent customer service as well as the best attention to detail obtainable in our industry today.

Sara Harloff- Senior Travel Manager, Sara has been in the travel industry for twenty-five years. Her primary responsibilities are to accommodate out bound clients as well as assisting with group coordination.

Lois Stick-Group Coordinator, Lois has been working with groups both in bound and out bound for twenty years. She works very closely behind the scenes coordinating contracts, manifests and staffing.

Tour Guides-Beyond Travel has thirty-five professional guides working on a part time basis.
